What is payroll?

Payroll refers to all the operations involved in calculating and issuing employee compensation. In Algeria, payroll processing is governed by the Labor Code and involves calculating social contributions (CNAS, CASNOS), IRG, and any applicable bonuses and allowances.

Payroll Processing Steps

1. Collecting variable elements: Attendance, absences, overtime, bonuses.
2. Calculating contributions: Employee and employer CNAS shares, IRG.
3. Issuing payslips: Providing each employee with a detailed pay stub.
4. Social declarations: Submitting elements to CNAS and the tax authority.
